Signs of aging

What is Glycation?
Sugar molecules attach to collagen and elastin fibers, hardening (as if caramelizing) them. With time, the skin's internal structure stiffens and becomes brittle. 
The result is the skin loses its suppleness and wrinkles set-in. 


What is oxidation?
Sun, pollution & stress trigger free radicals in the skin. This leads to a chain reaction which can cause damage (similar to rusting) to cell DNA.
The result is the skin loses its radiant and visibility. 


Signs of aging
As we begin to age, dermatologist observe specifics signs of facial aging.
Fine lines and winkles 
Eye are wrinkles appear, forehead furrows and crow's feet wrinkles become market. 





Deep wrinkles and loss of firmness
Nasolabial folds become marked. Wrinkles and signs of skin slackening appear around the mouth.





Skin sagging 
Noticeable slackening of the facial outline, feature begin to sag.





Pigmentary disorders, dark spots 
Skin tone is uneven. Dark spots begin to appear darker and more noticeable.
